We are members of the community

The HSNPTA is made up of families, parents, educators, and advocates throughout the Highline School District, a diverse district in footprint and demographic. Our membership covers all 35 schools, over 17,500 students in grades K-12 in Burien, Normandy Park, SeaTac, Des Moines, and White Center. 

We are parents

While the membership is made up of all types of advocates, the board is made up of local parents. We want to raise the voice of those that need help being included. We believe that every child deserves a seat, and we want to help ensure the Highline promise stretches to all kids - Every student in Highline Public Schools is known by name, strength and need and graduates prepared for the future they choose.

We are advocates

You don't need to be a parent or family member to advocate for a child. All members of the community are welcome at an upcoming member meeting, all members of the family are welcome to join, and all members of Highline staff are welcome to participate. To make change, we must all be willing to change.
